Wendy developed a strong reputation for delivering enhanced performance metrics through superior property management and shopping center marketing while working for over 15 years for L&B Realty Advisors at One Pacific Place. As a Senior Leasing Associate at RED Development, Wendy lead the leasing team on seven dynamic retail projects including Village Pointe, Regency Court, Midtown Crossing, South Pointe Pavilion, Greenway Station, Jefferson Pointe and Shadow Lake Towne Center. Wendy has received several accolades for her work in the industry, including the ICSC Maxi Awards for a trade advertising campaign in 2002 and again in 2003 for a shopping center charity event.
Since starting Chapman Retail Consulting in 2010, Wendy’s experience has translated to robust capabilities in remerchandising and repositioning properties improving her clients’ profitability and appeal. Her clientele range from local boutiques and luxury bistros to national retailers and restaurants. She is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Nebraska Real Estate Commission and Founding Member & Chairman of the Fashion Institute Midwest.
Wendy’s extensive organizational involvement has sharpened her ability to match properties with local communities creating memorable retail and restaurant destinations as well as meeting the individual needs and interests of the local public. In addition to her work as entrepreneur and community catalyst, Wendy is a loving mother of three boys, and Nana to two grand children. She enjoys all things creative and is enthusiastic about gardening, design, decorating, cooking, fashion, people, travel, and adventure!
